Garden of the Morning Calm

When Mike and I took our weekend trip to Chuncheon and Nami Island, one of the tourist attractions I'd noticed in the area was the Garden of the Morning Calm.  Mike wasn't interested.  So I was excited to have the opportunity to go with Mom!  It was a quick train ride to Cheongpyong, from where we took a taxi through the countryside to the garden.  It was hot, but beautiful!

  1. My darling, it is so good to see your post again. I didn't know about this beautiful place. Nami island is a place with fond memories when we were dating long time ago. Hopefully we get to visit again when we go to Korea.
I am happy to hear that you had a good tme with your mom. Two weeks is a short time, but I am sure you made the best use of it. Michael was telling me that he could only spend time on the weekends with her.
He should (as well as we) be very thankful that you have a loving and godly parents. What a blessing to us to have you in our family!
We had a great family camp up in Mammoth over the weekend. We missed you and hope to have you over next year.
We can't wait to see you in mid-September.
Enjoy your short remaining days in Korea, the land of morning calm.
Hopefully you enjoy watching the Korean women's volleyball team.
    They are great.
We love you!!! Appah & Ommah
